Before you begin
- Power on the AINA mirror and leave it on the pairing screen.
- Keep your phone near the mirror for Bluetooth discovery.
- Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi before opening the app.
- Use the AINA app to start discovery and remote actions.

Start Pairing on the Mirror
The video opens on the AINA mirror pairing screen so users can see the correct state before they begin in the app.
Open AINA and Search
From the app home screen, the Add New Device flow starts scanning and keeps retrying until the mirror is ready to connect.
Use the Remote Controls
The phone can drive the setup experience with directional controls, OK actions, and navigation while the mirror remains hands-free.
Finish the First-Time Experience
The walkthrough continues through language selection, sign-in prompts, and the first personalized dashboard states users will reach after pairing.
Detailed Setup Steps
These extra steps make the onboarding easier to follow. Each card uses a background image and icon so the user can quickly match the instruction to what they see on the mirror or in the mobile app.
Keep the Mirror on the Pairing Screen
Start with the mirror powered on and waiting for setup. This is the state shown at the beginning of the video before the phone takes over the process.
Open the App and Find Quick Actions
From the AINA app home screen, move to the Quick Actions area and tap Add New Device to begin discovery.
Wait for Bluetooth Discovery
Stay close to the mirror while the app searches. If discovery takes longer, keep Bluetooth enabled and leave the mirror in setup mode until it responds.
Control the Mirror from Your Phone
Use the remote area inside the app for directional controls, OK, and navigation. The video shows the phone acting as the mirror controller during setup.
Choose Language and Region
Continue through the mirror onboarding pages such as country or language selection, following the same screen order shown in the walkthrough.
Finish and Personalize
Once setup is complete, the mirror can move into sign-in and dashboard personalization so widgets, weather, and room-based controls become ready to use.
Setup Tip
If the app stays on Searching for Aina..., keep the mirror on the pairing screen, make sure Bluetooth is enabled, and stay within range until discovery completes.
